Our Story

The idea for Global Guppy started in a tiny Airbnb in Siargao. 

From paddleboarding in the Algarve one week, recovering from Bali belly the next, and sailing through Raja Ampat and Philippines shortly after... I started joking that I was a very small fish in a very big pond… a Global Guppy.

The idea of helping other small fish eventually became the foundation of the business.

 

At Global Guppy, we believe small businesses deserve the chance to navigate the digital currents, stand out in their industry, and rise to the surface.

Hi, I'm Savannah.

I grew up around entrepreneurship. My mom was always starting new businesses, and while many of them didn’t succeed, watching her try again and again gave me an early look at what it takes to build something from the ground up. As a kid, I was constantly coming up with ideas to help her businesses succeed. I loved solving problems, thinking creatively, and finding ways to bring in customers.

Later, while working at a traditional marketing agency, I saw firsthand how often agencies prioritized their own profits over their clients’ success—overpromising results and presenting analytics in ways that looked impressive but didn’t actually move the business forward. That experience pushed me to do things differently. Global Guppy was built on the belief that marketing should be honest, transparent, and focused on real growth. Today, I work closely with businesses to build thoughtful marketing strategies that attract the right customers and help their brands rise above the noise.
